Be a Vendor!

The 2014 COWF is a Zero Waste Event. Our goal is to divert 90% or more of our waste by recycling or composting the waste that is generated. Therefore, all food vendors participating in the 2014 COWF must use compostable utensils, bowls, plates, cups, etc. purchased through the COWF. A portion of your vendor’s fee ($50 for “small” food vendors & $150 for “big” food vendors) can be used as credit toward the buying of compostable tableware.

Non-food vendors (non-profits, for-profits & artisans) must also abide by the Zero Waste Contract. Please keep non-compostable, non-recyclable waste to a minimum. It takes the entire village to save the planet! We thank you for your help.

All vendors are asked to complete and abide by the following zero-waste contracts:

Food Vendors (BIG): $375 fee
Food requiring additional preparation (including restaurants, food trucks, as well as vendors using grills, ovens, open flames etc.). Most food vendors will fall into this category. Please inquire if unclear. Vendors are required to obtain a food handler permit ($40 fee) and fire permit ($20 fee) from the City of Cleveland. Please submit these applications and associated fees once your vendor application is approved. We will get the appropriate permits for you.

Food Vendors (SMALL): $175 fee
Food not requiring additional preparation (produce, bakery items, spices, packaged food, popcorn, ice cream, etc.) Vendors are required to obtain a food handler permit ($40 fee) from the City of Cleveland. Please submit this application and associated fee once your vendor application is approved. We will get the appropriate permits for you.

For-Profit Organizations & Businesses: $150 fee

Merchandise Vendor (“Artists & Artisans”): $100 fee
Non-Food, Clothing, Books, Jewelry, Novelties, Photos, Art & Crafts, etc.

Non-Profit Vendors: $50 fee
Government, Schools, Health Services, and Publicly Funded Social Agencies (Information & Literature only)

Need Electricity? $50.00 per 120V Outlet (need more than 120V – send inquiry).
You are required to have a 200-foot electric cord.
